Here we go again! Date is confirmed for Howlin Halloween 2023!

Shevanigans Van Club presents the 2nd Howlin' Halloween!



We are still in planning stages, so details will come soon enough.

We pushed the date back a week from last year to not share a weekend with Konehead's event in Florida.

Awards for Best Costume, Best Dressed Van (like dress your van for halloween), Best Van (Club's pick), and more!

Beautiful open spot with terrific sunrises over the Intracoastal Waterway with Large Oaks draped in Spanish Moss!

Hopefully the mosquitos are back to normal this year, but I would bring DEET bug spray, just in case. They were intense last year!

We'll be there! We're gonna stop on the way there and back at a couple of state parks in Georgia. We'll be there that Friday afternoon.

Thinking about this one this year. Looks like the campground is next to some water called Bulls Bay. I wonder if that's named for Bull reds or Bull sharks...

Either way, late October is definitely the perfect time to wet a line in saltwater! Might have to bring a kayak

Yah, the campground is directly on the intercoastal and definitely not too far of a Paddle to Bulls Bay. I know we do have a lot of sharks down here in Beaufort, so I would assume there are just as many up there, since its only like 65-70 Miles (as the crow flies).

The Campground is actually run by a company called Natures Adventure Outfitters (NAO), and they rent Kayaks as well. There is a floating dock that you can launch from. I will edit the post once I have more info and add all this in like I did last year, but the Sewee Outpost up the road has fishing tackly/bait/supplies and licenses. You can freshwater fish on a large lake on the property, or saltwater in the intercoastal! NAO are awesome people and super accommodating to us. The guy that Runs it, Jay, has degree in Biology and is full of knowledge about the area! There is also a public acess boat ramp at a National Park campground LITERALLY right next door if you want ted to bring a boat.
