I am hoping to retire from work in about 3 years, when I turn 55
That will give me more time to work on things

I have a 68 Camaro getting painted for a customer, with all new parts in crates and a beautiful shop for me to work on.
Everything is bolt on, new parts
Including an LS Crate Motor......

Also have a 68 C10, 73 C10 to build
And an interesting one, an Avalanche im going to pull the body off of, and put a 73 cab with flat bed. Should be fun
This friend offered to give me a free 68

I have not turned a wrench in so many years, and now that I started working on my van, I cant stop.
Wait till you see what Im going to do to the van soon...

Man. You are a Lucky man to be able to retire at 55.Do you have a good connection with a paint shop ? And if so do they have a website ?

I retired at 55 also (but I got hurt in 2002 to retire) as a Aerospace Machinist after 30 years of running CNC machines and Tool N Die in 1993. Havent worked for 21 yrs. Spent 7 yrs in Workmans comp ....I have parts on the moon, the space Shuttle and finally making F-22 parts for the AirForce.

Cant wait to see the van when your done.

My favorite frscke1 parts include the 737 APU parts that are your parts that are on all the Auxiliary Power Units.
The parts that don't ever fail. Those parts!! Taco time!!

Appreciate the " Good Thoughts " . It;s getting close. I "hope" end of june. Went thru a nightmare with the springs from Eaton. Horrible quality and uncaring shippung with bad manufacturing. Didn't even use them. Went witrh North County Spring in Escondido and had my exhaust set up with Ed Hansen in Alpine. ( I shipped my factory manifolds and Patriot side pipes to Jet Hot in Oklahoma to get them ceramic coated to cut down heat )
