Hey everyone, i guess this fits in this category best..
I'm getting a lot of noise from my rear end and have the opportunity to get a 6 lug posi, disc brake10 bolt rear end for about $150. I can make all that work, but I would want to have six lugs in the front as well, I found these rotors on summit, they are listed for c10 pickups with heavy duty brakes, not sure exactly what that means, but they seem like they might work. Anyone have any experience? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/clp-cp4r-6

Usually 6 lug setups are for 4X4 pickups. Being that the rear end you can get has disc brakes, it sounds like it is from a late model 4wd truck.
The rotors that are listed from summit are disc brake conversion rotors for 60's era Chevy/GMC 2wd pickups. All 2wd 1/2 ton trucks of that period, that used drum brakes, were 6 lug. Therefore if the owner converted to disc brakes (which were 5 lug) and wanted to retain the 6 lug rims he would get those rotors from summit.
Those rotors may or may not work for you. Depends on the year of the vehicle.

The money your saving on the cost of the rearend will be spent on the "conversion parts". Just find the "correct" rearend for your van. Rear disc are nice to say you have but offer no real advantage on a street driven vehicle.
