I bought a roll of carbon fiber wrap to wrap part of my dash... then I wrapped some door pieces I found in a local junkyard. I decided to wrap the interior pieces rather than having the expense of painting the interior when I repaint the van next year. Cut new door cards and covered them in vinyl. Also wrapped the door handle and window crank and blacked out the silver interior trim. Two new captains chairs. New stereo with bluetooth.

Hey thats a neat Idea.
Having worked a good amount with real carbon fiber cloth, which one has to saturate with epoxy or polyester resins, I thought you were insane to try this, but did not know such a cut peel and stick option was available for decorative use.
I wonder how well it deals with extreme temperatures. I have a couple areas on my surfboards with carbon fiber re enforcement, and they get way too hot in the sunlight, and the few all carbon fiber surfboards out there tend to get painted white for such reasons.
its nice and easy to work with using a heat gun.
Looks real nice, good job
I think that looks really good! Great idea. I see it in the stores and it says for use on outer car moldings among other things so if it works as said it should be ok.
Thanks. I got a huge roll on ebay. I think it was to wrap a roof. $36 bucks for the roll.
Great idea looks really good!
looks great! I love the way CF looks.
Looks awesome. I might have to look into getting myself some for my interior.
That's a real nice idea and it looks GREAT!!
That looks awesome FreightTrain!
Did you have to perform any particular surface prep prior to the application? You were really in some challenging areas between the large flat expanses, the tight radius corners, and the sharp edges - that ashtray looks incredible!
I used that on my dashboard too. made things look so much different and better.
And your coming down to San Diego to do mine when ? OUTSTANDING !
Looks good , I used it before i still have a little scrap i saved LOL
