Hi guys, I have not been around for awhile.

I had A/C problems with a 84 duel ac Chevy. It had been a r12 to r134 conversion. It really has not work very well in many years. I finally broke down and paid big money to get it fix right.

So now after 3 compress of from napa that blew out (it has a carquest in it now) it is the meat locker cold that every GM i have owned has been.

It now has a 94/95 A/C parts on it with rerouted hoses on it, Sense those were 134 from the factory. The place I took it to makes there own hoses, so it was easy to reroute.

It will need a electric pusher fan for traffic condition, but it work great with out. Its also 3.5ish pounds now instead of 4ish pounds of R134
.

Did you have to change rackets with the compressor change?

Sorry guys I cant see my posts on the main forum. No question, just stating what you can do.

Dyno Dave... The compressor is a A6 rebuilt I think, but an A6 non the less, so no change. If doing again I would get at pro6ten compressor. drop in replacement. A6 compressor are not very good rebuilt or new any more.
