Hello fellow friends!

I drive an 87 Chevy G10 with a 79 Chevy 305 2 barrel Rochester 2 jet! 700R4 transmission geared to pull some weight... My rear end isn't original as there is SO much leaf. But here it is. Fastest time in the 1/4 mile so far has been 17.9 @ 73MPH... My body count for race wins is 1 and that was a Scion TC! I need to add a driveshaft loop in order to use my second hand slicks. Please comment give me suggestions to go faaaaast! Love my van BTW! Post pictures of yours!

Nice van, and LMAO poor scion. To be fair it must've had a few fatties in the back. Anyway your van could smoke mine. I take about 30 seconds or so to hit 60...

Going big block sounds a little intimidating... I would love to keep it 305 but the engines I have currently are the 79 305 and an 86 305 TPI and a bare 350 block all 700r4s idk what head's or anything to get!

I would like to get over 100MPH and maybe below 14s eventually to do some wheelies!

over 100 in a G Van quarter mile time feels sketchy to me. I guess if you do a lot of suspension work and tighten it up it wouldn't be too bad.

350-370hp to the tire should get you sub-14's and close to 100mph trap speed if your van is pretty empty and you can get a good 60', but pulling the tires is an entirely different story about traction and weight transfer.

I have drag slicks already got some hand me downs. I had to tube them tho somebody did self tapper bead locks! The track wants me to get a drive shaft loop to he able to run them tho.
