i have bought an old g 20 1986 starcraft and bring it to france

i have repair every cinematic and mecanic
front and rear axle , arms , bush .... new and adapt a fitech EFI for use E85.


i have repair or remade everyrhing but i don t find the 2 alyminium parts who finish the wing polyester extension for the right of the van

rear right is hurt , i can repair but front right i havn t

i have post 2 photos i hope it s ok

Those are hard to find ... a guy found a after market set but they wernt as nice as factory.

il have received the kit
nice but i must remove everything for fix them
so i have repair original

i have change carpet too

but yesterday problem on the rear axle.
10 bolt 8.50

vibrations ....
when i raise the rear , i can move wheels and shaft about 3mm .....each
i have a doubt
it can be a clutch or a shaft worn
but when you remove the cover of the axle, you have the 10 hole for bolts and 2 holes for oil return.
on the right hole i see only the shaft . not the "tube".
on the left hole i can see the shaft and the "tube" half of the hole
so i am asking if the tube (normally welded) to the center as not move and so create this 5or 6 mm
clearance. (last photography it s a googlr one but show the holes i said)

have you an opinion about my rear problem ?

Im not mechanic .. with me if it drips a drop its in the shop..

Not a mechanic either...know just enough to be dangerous.

The steel axle tubes are plug welded to the cast center section at these locations during manufacturing.



If those welds are intact, and seem sound, my guess would be that this is the way it was made (with more tube inside on the driver side). That's as far as my thinking takes me.

i have found an other rear axle for use the van
a standard one

my original is with 28 stips axle shaft and a locker mecanic differential (eaton)
i have disassembled everything

the problem is between the shaft, and the c clips
the shaft is maybe hurt
i ll make new C clip with a CAO ( larger)
and see
