Hello I am a new vanner.

Trying to get this 1975 surf van in order. Have a twisted shackle and hanger. Was looking at it and see that a longer shackle since inverted will only lower the back more. Am trying to obtain that cool rake with some 295/50/15s and some rear tricks.

What is your recipie for getting a cool rake in the back and any suspension upgrades would be helpful. Low cost and some links for parts. I notice there is very few listings for parts at your local mainstream summit, Oreilly, etc.

Thanks

SK

I installed air lift air bag suspension in my van ( not air shocks more like springs).
I can control ride height by changing air pressure in the bags. Can also be installed with on board air compressor for in cab adjustment.

Thanks,

Went with the budget Gabriel hi-jackers. Fixed the shackle. Might consider a rear swaybar and call it good. Onto the four barrel conversion.
