Hey all trying to install new brake drums, hardware and wheel cylinders on my 95 g30. It’s got a full floating axle that requires the axle to be pulled out to take the drums off. To do this requires a special socket to pull out the axle hub anybody know what socket I should purchase Ive found a few of them with different size diameters and amount of prongs/teeth on them.
Ive always let the brake shop do mine ....
Ill look it up in my factory shop manual
if it drips a drop its in the shop ....
Bitchin! looks like j-2222-c is my tool. do you have any links to this manual you have it seems much more in depth compared to my chilton.

Chiltons and any other books you find at autozone or Rieellys are for weekend mechanics ... these are for the dealerships to fix anything that comes in.
Does your van have a 454 in it by chance ?
