years ago
Let me know Thanks
Your doing very well with the rust.
While checking out my local Pick n Pull found these bad boys. They literally a new! And the best thing it was a 50% off sale that day. Git both seats for $39.00!

Shot of the front area....
You sir, are making some excellent progress on this van.
And you STOLE those seats.
Beautiful build man, following.
Amigo, that is definitely a great move you did! Buying that van was a score. sure, time and cash going into this, but once its done, its done!!! Those seats, man, lucky shot right there!
I like how you put the stereos up, but more, I love how you gut it out, and rebuild it, instead of patching up. That´s the way to go.
Can´t wait to see more!
Thanks! Really enjoying the time doing it!

Yes! Weltron! and what every mopar needs a Velvet Road Runner !! lol
That's amazing, when I saw the whole rocker and quarter cut off I thought for sure that thing was a goner. It looks sweet now. I thought my Dodge was bad But i just had to replace the lower rocker portions on both sides and it only went halfway up to the floor pan. Looks like i got lucky.
Looking bad ass man. Love it!

Thanks! I was wondering if it was a goner to...But patience and determination. Shows that really nothing is ever TOO far gone!
Taped off the ol girl and finishing up a little work to the side doors. This weekend she should be primed!
took a break from the bodywork and decided to clean up the grill I found. I think she turned out great!
Awesome! I love the interior work. Beautiful job!
Wow, that grill cleans up nice!
Grill came out really nice.
Hey Rene, what did you use to latch the overhead console up to the ceiling? I like the hinge idea and curious how you dealt with keeping it up with the weight off all those pieces.

There is a small L bracket that is mounted to the side above the drivers and passengers window. There is a screw that holds it in place from the bottom of the console!
Anyway to take a closer pic of that? Trying to envision what that looks like. Thanks for the inspiration! Love this van.
Every thing is looking great man.
Here is a shot of the Bracket where the overhead console screws to
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the paint

I'm going to do a tribute to the street van.
DANGIT! I was hoping to see paint. I'm so anxious to see this one under color.
looking good, thats a whole lot of real estate to wet sand... but its all in the prep so at the end of the day well worth all the long hours.

It really does. I did the old spray bottle with wax/grease remover and wow it was like glass!
Rene are you doing the paint yourself or just prep and hand it off to someone?
I wish I were closer. All that primer makes me want to lay out some graphics and bust out the airbrush man!

Prepping it for someone else to do!
I wish I were closer. All that primer makes me want to lay out some graphics and bust out the airbrush man!
Whoa baby! if you were closer I'd LOVE to have some air brushing done!!!!
Well there's no turning back now! Some finishing touches to the body and then she gets coated in Yellow!
Tell Me about it! 18 months to this stage!
CAN WAIT!!!
OMG this build is killing me, can't stand the suspense.
Wow this is really cool! I can't believe you found those seats so cheap! and that heart partition is awesome! taking notes on how you wired the dash!
It is looki very nice. Good job your doing.
Very nice, Can't wait to see more pics once you have the chrome installed and on the road again ( Willie Nelson's On the road again) stuck in my head
Sorry, but now I have the Beatles song "We all live in a Yellow Submarine" stuck in my head.
Turn up the volume please!!!!
Awesome! Are you still doing the street van style color graphics?
LMFAO!!!!

I don't know yet .... It looks so good like this. Probably in time!
Awesome! Are you still doing the street van style color graphics?
I've been following along on IG as well. Build is coming out soooo nice. Keep it up man, one seriously bitchin' van.
Do you have anymore paint work or graphics in mind? Any theme that you're going after? All jokes aside, it is very nice. TONS of work, lots of sweat, and lots of envious people who would like to be able to do the same to their van (me included)
Do you have a sunroof installed in the van?
You could pop open the sunroof and raise up a periscope!
No pirate theme, unless you like RUM and Johnny Depp
Well boys and girls...I'd like you to meet "hearts desire". She'll be assembled in the next few days with all her chrome goodies! Stay tuned for those pics!
Been a long road and I can't believe that I accomplished all the work that I have done. This is my first build and wow did I learn a lot!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet
Wow! That is definitely eye catching! Looks amazing!
Dang son that is a beautiful rig.
Yeahhhhhh! Looks so awesome!
Love the van,but the interior is beautiful, I feel the 70's..top notch.
Thanks for all the Positive comments Fellas! Was a learning experience. Would I do it again?.......Hell ya!
