My 95 G20 van is pulling to right when breaking. My mechanic says front end parts ok, replaced both calipers, and master cylinder two front shocks, all new tires. Still pulling....what should I do next alignment check something else? Any help appreciated.
Check the brake cylinders, One of them is bad. I know you said your mech replaced the calipers but, If it is froze it pulls the other way when braking. The cyl is in the caliper that grabs the rotor. They are the hydraulic component that extends to press the brake shoes against the brake drum when the pedal is depressed. The other part that could have failed is the prop valve.
Nothing says new parts work out of the box .
Can also be a bad brake line. I had the same issue and new caliper did nothing, but new front brake line/ hose fixed it right up.
Yep a crushed, bent or clogged brake line wont let the fluid go to the caliper & it will pull the other way.
Here's a book you might want a Factory Service Manual....
