I have been searching and have talked to several rebuild shops and get different answers from each. I am looking to source the Shifter arm return spring. This keeps your auto shift arm from being floppy.

This is the part # in question 7812853 that is a GM OEM #

I can still shift just fine but its one of those OCD things that I would like to just fix!

Thanks!

Thanks but my question... Is that the correct spring? When a shop that specialize in column rebuilds tells me no it has to make me wonder WHAT the heck!

That is the part for the number you gave .... if you were told you need this part number... yes that's it

All 3 places I posted have a return policy.

A shop will try to sell you ice cubes in the Arctic ,,,

Ask the shop where they are going to get one or they going to make you one at twice the price.

Personally Id go with GM PARTS DIRECT as I have done bus with them before .... 100% satisfaction
