How to clean power lock & power window switch contacts? - November 29th 2020 2:28 am
Hi, newbie here - While I have my door panel off my new to me 95 Chevy G20 to replace the passenger side power window motor, I noticed that both my power window and power lock switches have gotten dirty/dusty throughout it’s life including the contacts. Any advice on cleaning these? I also noticed that the connector that goes into the power window motor is also gunked with some grease and dirt, would love some advice on how to clean this properly too.
Can I just use an electrical contact cleaner (CRC QD Electronic Cleaner or similar brand)?
Thank you!
