any tricks or tips on removing the "Sport Van" badging? I can feel in on the passenger fender in the engine compartment and theres one nut I can reach. any suggestions? hacksaw blade or?

That's a great idea! I have a neighbor girl about 10 or 11 she fits her hands in the little spots of my van and motorcycle. And she knows righty tighty. I don't have to explain a thing. Heck helped me bleed the brakes on the van about a month ago!
