The wife had a run in with a deer last night and now I have another project.
Everyone is fine and the damage was minimal the air bags didn't go off and the alignment seems fine the rad held it's water luckily because she had to drive another 100kms to get home.. Thank the van Gods she and the kids made it home OK!!
I plan on starting the teardown tonight to get the full damage report..
Wow, looks like the deer bled acid and melted your bumper.
Lets make Jerky!!!
sry about the accident and glad all are well....
Sorry to hear that...good thing she is fine !
Sorry to hear about the bad luck. My wife hit one a few years ago in a Dodge Neon, one antler penetrated the roof just above the windshield which probably saved her life. The deer flipped up and over the car but the windshield had already split and was giving way. It would have come inside if it hadn't caught the roof. I thank God for that, deer kill a lot of people in accidents.
Thanks for the concern guys. I too thank God it wasn't any worse and try not to think too much about the what ifs .The wife and kids are fine and thats all that matters .
Glad everyone is okay! The van doesn't look to bad. Did you check with the insurance company to see if they would cover the damage? I know sometimes it works out cheaper to just do the repairs yourself.
What they said, bummer about the van, but glad the family is well.
So glad wife and kids are fine, THAT is the important thing. . .
Glad everyone is A-OK!
I hit a deer once at 2am...It scares the mess out of ya for sure.
I hit 3 in one shot one morning, went rite over them. Didn't even hurt 91 GMC PU.
i hit one with my 88 Astro, took the beating rather well actually. Good thing you had your family in a VAN!
Glad to hear the family is OK, those things can be a HARD hit sometimes. I've done more than my share of cleanin em off the road.Hope it isn't TOO expensive to repair.
Sorry to hear about your van,but very happy every one is okay.
Glad to here everybody's ok and you'll be able to fix the van.I've never hit a deer or a moose but have had a few close calls.
After a month or so when the wife can take a little ribbing, ask her if she went by the drivers license office and got a big game stamp... Actually, maybe a couple months. My wife chased me around the house after just one month.

Good one might take a few months
I thought my 78 was bad..this thing is only 12 years old wow
I got some parts to get this one fixed up. My real job is holding me up we are working 7 10's for a bit so it's hard to find the ambition after work but it's got to get done.
I completely understand that. It's hard enough working 40 a week and still find the ambition to crawl around on one.
