I did not get pics of all the vans there, sadly. I noticed a whole bunch that I missed pictures of somehow, and then there were a couple of really nice vans that I wanted pics of that I got only 1 or 2 poor pictures of... hopefully others took much better pictures. If you were there and got pics, feel free to add them in this thread!

This is 'technically' a #2 for the eVANt, as it was held last year as well in the same location. The host club kinda splintered and the estranged members started a new club called Renegade Vans, so they changed the event name from Mountain Mayhem to Heavy in the Holler. The campground (Nolichucky Gorge Campground and Cabins) has new management, and it shows. Things were cleaned up a bit and the grounds seemed to be well run. If you haven't been, I recommend it as there is so much to do if you want while your there. You can swim on the river, tube down the river, Kayak, white water raft, hike the Appalachian Trail, Drink a lot of beer/shine/wine/liquor or enjoy whatever you like to enjoy with no drama. There were a couple of cops walking the grounds on Saturday and didn't seem to mind the odors of people enjoying themselves.

77 Vans through the gate is what I am told. The Jersey Devil van is now owned by Jim Price and he brought it in on his way back from Miami to pick it up. I saw plates on vans from FL, GA, TN, SC, NC, VA, OH, NY, PA, and MA. Had a couple games like a Tug O War and 3 legged race. They had a nice raffle with lots of nice van related goodies, a 50/50 drawing, awards for best Dodge/GM/Ford, Hard Luck, Longest Distance, Peoples Choice, Renegade's Choice, Kids Choice, etc. The bands started Saturday night before some heavy showers pummeled us pretty good. After the rain stopped the bands started back up and the party was back on!

Overall a great time and the Renegade Vans are some stand up folks that are loving Vannin and keeping it alive there in the Mountains.

My Shevanigans Van Club Brother, Gorgeous George, has a magazine called Smut Butt Magazine and took plenty of Photos as well. So Keep an eye out in Smut Butt for a feature on the run.

I posted all my pics on Instagram under SCScooterTrash, but some of them got cropped. If your on IG, follow me!

Here is my Flickr Album with uncropped/Unedited photos:HEAVY IN THE HOLLER 2021 FLICKR ALBUM (Must be a limit on how many photos an album will hold. I may add a second album after work.)

ENJOY!

after I came to the run last year and saw the scenery, I told myself this is definitely a recurring run for me.

Great pics. Looks like I missed a really awesome time. I'm glad Chet found a good home for Jersey Devil. That's one of my all time favorite vans.

well next time you need to come. Green Demon and OSV had some vans show up. Justin (Uncle Trashcan) came up. so there is no shortage of vans to convoy with from Florida.

I am always thinking of trying to put something together up here on the coast. something not too big, not a full blown truck in, more like just a rough party: No electic hook ups, maybe roast a pig, maybe some makeshift showers and a few port a potties, etc. have some folks come out to play some good music. If I EVER get this together I will let you know.
