What's up guys! I've got a 1986 Dodge B250. The previous owner through some pretty tiny tires on it (220/70) and it looks real wonky. I've been looking to upgrade for a while, but first I wanted to track down some stock aluminum rims that looks something like this:

After a lot of hunting, I found a pair on craigslist for $150. They were off a 90s half ton truck. After buying them, I realized that these are not stock rims - they've just got the same appearance. These rims are 10 inches wide with 4 inches of backspacing (measured from the back of the flange to the edge)

I took a few measurements, and it looks like these will fit. But it's pretty close. Worse case scenario, I think I might need to use a 1" spacer.

Has anyone run these size rims on the front of a B-series van? I see lots of people running them in the back, but it seems like everyone goes for 8" rims in the front.

my plan was to mount some 255/60s on there.

I'll definitely keep you guys up to date once I try it out. It will be a little while tho, still got a bit of life on my current tires and i've got an 8000 km trip planned over many shitty roads. I figure i'll beat on the old tires, then switch to something nicer once i'm done.

10's on the front will be too wide and unless it is lifted if will rub like a bastard

I have a B100 and 10's on the rear and 8's on the front.

That's what I was worried about. In that case, I might have to spring for some wheel spacers and do a test fit. I'm operating under the assumption that 10" rims have 1" of extra depth on the back, and 1" on the front. I measured with my existing wheels and it looks like i've got a ton of clearance on the outside facing part of the rim. So I assume that 1" wheel spacers will give me the same backspacing as an 8" rim, and the wheels will just stick out a little more.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.
