It's been some time since I last posted but only because the van sat all winter and a good part of the summer with no progress towards fixing it.
What was wrong?
Right rear leaf spring busted.
Rochester carburetor was in desperate need of rebuilding.

I have now had the leaf spring replaced.
and the carb rebuilt.
It runs good for the most part it still stumbles and boggs once in a while usually when hot and accelerating from a stop . Not sure why could be as simple as a tuneup.
I can really tell it has more power now. Plus it's not doglegging down the road, tracking straight so that's got to help get better gas milage.
Next is to get some rust holes that popped through this winter.
And were good to go . Finally
