Have a 1991 Chevy G-20 "Shorty" that I purchased and have been working on since "last" October. I have gotten it to the point where it's going in for body & paint next week.....anyway one of the things I did was change/convert the van into a 10 series (1/2 ton) (replaced all the shocks, coil front springs, rear leaf springs, front steering components, etc...) with the hopes that it would smooth ride out bit (which it did..not so "stiff" anymore) but the other thing I was hoping for was the change would lower the height or "stance" a bit but it did not (see the photos). So searching around for 2 inch lowering kits (for the front & rear) I cannot find any that the retailers/manufacturers say fit "any" Chevy/GM G Series vans (I did see a posting that mentioned that CPP has 2 inch front lowering spindles but their web site does not list any vans). So I am asking if anyone can tell me which Chevy/GM truck's of the late 80's and early 90's suspension components will fit my G Series van without having to do any fabricating work...strictly bolt on? Any help and/or advice would be appreciated for this project. |
