Hi, just about to get back to my new door trims, I have cut out and prepared the board, obtained the foam and new vinyl, my Question is,
do I cut the foam flush with the edge or give enough overlap to fold it round by an inch or so? cheers

I would cut it flush with the edge or only about a 1/16" overhang, but that's just my taste. If you shut the door and check all the way around to see if you have clearance for the thickness of your foam, you could pull it off to look good as well. Keep in mind though the door panel will also sit that thickness off of the door itself if you wrap it around. Kinda like a foam spacer between the panel and the door metal.

There chrome channels that hold and lock my panels in on my '93.

Kinda like a picture framed pc of Oak panel
