I'm talking about a 95 g20. I'd come up the hill home from work a hot hot day and park and eat dinner, when I came out, I go to start and it would turn motor like there was no gas. I'd stop, wait a minute or 2 and it would start. It began to happen once in a week or two or three weeks. The van otherwise would run fine no problems noticed ever.
One day I got gas on a hot evening went back and the same thing, turning over like it was dry of fuel or SPARK. It did start finally like it alway does not a stumble or hesitation like a switch was pulled.
A mechanic came out he said, change your ignition module, I did get one, put the heat sink compound on the back installed it and its never failed to start in 3 months. That module sits in the distributor.
I hope this helps someone.
