They are sunroofs. I probably installed over 200 of them back in the '70's. I put one in my brand new '75 Econoline. My girlfriend asked if I could put one in her Toyota. Done. My roommate wanted one in his Cutlass. My younger brother helped me do all three. He got the idea that this was easy weekend money. He made flyers and put them on windshields at the mall. Local van shop made me a killer deal for buying multiple sunroofs. Brother and I were doing 6-8 installs every Saturday all summer and spring ( until snow started in NY ) at $100 profit each vehicle. Paid off my loan on the '75 ( $5,300) along with Cragars and other mods. |
