Im trying to install some mags on the front of my 1980 Ford E150 van and the front disk brakes have that shoulder that locates the steel wheels. This shoulder sticks up about 7/16 and prohibits the wheel from sitting flush on the rotor. All rotors Ive seen for this van have that shoulder. The only workaround I can think of is get a spacer thats same thickness as that shoulder then install longer lug nut studs. Are there any other ford trucks/vans from this era that are a replacement that dont have the shoulder?

For the past 15 years or so I have run a set of 15x8.5 American Racing slotted mag wheels on first my 1984 E-150, then my 1990 E-150, and now my 1995 E-150. These rims are lug centric and were originally intended for a Jeep or other 4wd truck. The big center bore clears the ridge on the rotor no problem, but I do have to run some ugly center caps to fill the hole.

You could try grinding the lip down on the rotor to clear the center bore on the rims, or just run some thin wheel spacers, ust thick enough to clear the lip.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!

I run short derby caps on my 89 Dodge, they look good very low profile.
