They are the Hooker Long tube truck headers I was told would fit. However on the Passenger side, the rear of the header is hitting the frame mount for the torsion bar and as a result the flange is a half inch away from the top of the engine..... Is this common on the vans? Should I abort the mission? I'll post a pic in a minute | | | Re: 1971 b200 with 1975 360 engine Header Problem | Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 39 Likes: 11 newbie | newbie Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 39 Likes: 11 | Photos would help. That said are the motor and transmission mounts in perfect shape and position?
Sometimes a very hot torch and a BFH or large pry bar are what is needed to get headers enough clearance. ![[Linked Image from sportsmobileforum.com]](http://sportsmobileforum.com/gallery/images/upload/27855b1edcf75dc12a5ad68031ba235b.jpg) "Talk is cheap.
