Jim and frscke1 are retired and are sipping cool refreshing beverages at Club Med. Lee7673 is a Land Baron and Rusty has oil wells at El Rancho Rusty in Texas. ( I heard he married RICH )

I was broke most of my life, though... So I guess it comes out even.

The only reason I have it easy is my dad left me this house with NO mortgage .. I was livin pay check to pay check most of my life ... couldnt keep 2 nickles .. with the last SSI COLA im making what I did in 2003 but now no taxes on it, I was in the military so no medical bills or Premiums I have the VA.

No house payments
No loans
No car payments
NO credit card balance over the mo utitiles $425
SDG&E, phone, trash N water thats it ...

U Dont have cash U dont need it YET.... might want it, Save up 2/3 of it then go get it.

But being debt free is the way to be. Oh what a feeling !

Thank you kindly Mic ... My dad set a good example for me, he was a LtCmdr in the Navy. Vietnam & Korean War Vet. Takin care of my 82 yr old mom for yrs probly got me some brownie points for gettin the house, even thou there are 4 kids, my name is the only one on the deed.
