I'd love to lower the rear of my '89. Anyone know of a "kit"?

here is one link, but it is for a 3 inch drop.... might be alittle much.

I know there are a few places out there that make astro suspension stuff. I'll let you know of any more links when I find them.

AIM industries, Stillen, Salesco, DJM Suspension, Performance Suspension, plus many others - you can find a bunch in any truck magazine - look for suspension suppliers, most have kits for the Astro.

Several kits are available, most of them are similar and usually drop the rear 3 inches. It will depend how low the front of your van is as to whether this is too much. Check out the suspension section at "www.racecraftconversions.com"

How'd your lowering project work out? I'd like to do the same to my '95stro but not sure whether to use dropped spindles or coils on the front & drop blocks or new dropped springs on the rear. Anyone have any thoughts/experience with this ??? Thanks !!!

when there stock the rear is one inch higher than the front. so most that want good drivablity use the 2/3 drop. 3 flip kit for the rear and a 2in drop spindle up front. you could use a coil but you have a lot more work to do if so. and i havent used the springs yet so no comment.

DJM makes shackles for dropping the rear 2" or 3". The one's I have actually measured out after installation at 1.5". Which was about what I wanted to get it level.
Am I in the GM area?? opps!
