New here.
Just joined the forum and I have a question.
Does anyone knopw of any lift kits for the AWD Astro?
I have a 1996 AWD and would like to lift it and install some larger A/T type tires.
Does anyone know if the Trailmaster 5 1/2" lift for the S10 would work or can be readily modified to fit the Astro?
I had considered this but I don't want to spend ~$1500 unless I'm relatively sure that it can be done.
The only other option I see is a solid front axle.

Thanks

NUKE

Well, if you got my e-mail that cool, if you didn't, here it is for all to read.

I went to Overland's website, they have an interesting approach to lifting the Astro/Safari.
It seems that they utilize a body lift for the front subframe and a suspension lift for the rear.
I would prefer a full suspension lift like Trailmaster's S-10 kit but if I can't get any info I'll most likely go with the Overland kit.

My wife isn't terribly excited about a solid axle swap in "her" van. [Linked Image]
Frankly, after doing a SAS in my Tacoma, I'm not looking forward to it either!!! [Linked Image]
