Sorry everyone! We had to cancel this event due to the county requiring the property to get permits and then dragging their feet on issuing said permits.

In lieu of, I will host a vanner Halloween party here at the house if anybody wants to come. It obviously won’t be a run and I am limited on space. Message me if you are interested.

We'll be there! We're gonna stop on the way there and back at a couple of state parks in Georgia. We'll be there that Friday afternoon.

Thinking about this one this year. Looks like the campground is next to some water called Bulls Bay. I wonder if that's named for Bull reds or Bull sharks...

Either way, late October is definitely the perfect time to wet a line in saltwater! Might have to bring a kayak

Yah, the campground is directly on the intercoastal and definitely not too far of a Paddle to Bulls Bay. I know we do have a lot of sharks down here in Beaufort, so I would assume there are just as many up there, since its only like 65-70 Miles (as the crow flies).

The Campground is actually run by a company called Natures Adventure Outfitters (NAO), and they rent Kayaks as well. There is a floating dock that you can launch from. I will edit the post once I have more info and add all this in like I did last year, but the Sewee Outpost up the road has fishing tackly/bait/supplies and licenses. You can freshwater fish on a large lake on the property, or saltwater in the intercoastal! NAO are awesome people and super accommodating to us. The guy that Runs it, Jay, has degree in Biology and is full of knowledge about the area! There is also a public acess boat ramp at a National Park campground LITERALLY right next door if you want ted to bring a boat.

Thinking about it for sure.
