Hello everyone. I am looking for a Dodge truck to tow our 4200lb camper better than my 1986 dodge B250 3/4 ton van. It tows great on flat land but last time in western Pa. It had a very hard time on the hilly roads. But first is it possible to swap out my rear end for a stronger one? 3:93 ect. And a rebuilt tran

Or What do you's think about this Dodge
1999
Super clean and well maintained. Minimal rust. Nice interior. Cold a.c. everything works as it should. 2 remotes, 72k original miles. 4x4 , 318ci. V8. Receipts for all work I have had done. I'm the second owner. I bought it off my friends dad about 10 years ago. You could drive this truck to California right now. Has all new brakes and brake lines, shocks, Gas tank straps, new u joints in front axle and drive shaft. New exhaust from y pipe back with flow master muffler and deleted cat. Cold air intake, taller throttle body spacer, Clutch fan deleted with electric fans added for better gas milage and throttle response.Very peppy.Large transmission cooler added with it's own electric fan as well. New fluids cap rotor, spark plugs and wires as well. Has roll down tonneau cover with dura liner and rubber bed mat. Vent shades , step bars, Reese hitch and electric trailer brake are also installed. 3:55 rear end.

Go to the Junk yard and get the one you want .. have it serviced and swap it out.

You dont need the whole veh just the rear ...most jy will pull it for you and put it your truck.

Just make sure you have it serviced it may need a fresh set of gears .. aprox 500 for the gears set.

might get the housing for a hundred .. 600 plus mech charge is way cheaper buyin a new one

Do you think the 318 is still strong enough? I had it rebuilt recently, it has about only 6000 mile on the new engine.
