Talked my best friend into going to the next one , "Journey To the Center Of New England " in Keen NH. .... He was hooked ... went out and bought a van the next weekend. We took more friends , More people hooked ... So we were a bunch of Vanners hanging out together and decided to call it a club... "True Truckers" We felt that we owed the Vanning community back so we started to plan a Van rally of our own, took us a while. But by 82 we had our first of 2.... "True Truck-inn " and "True Drunk-inn" then some of us got married and had kids ... well you know how it goes... In 2018 , I got back into it . had a club patch from back in the day and someone walked up to us and said what the hell is that and who the hell are you .... It was one of the 2nd year members Kid . Now there are 4 of us ... 3 original members and one Kid ( he has to be in his 30s ) ... Looking for a place to hold another Van-Inn Now ... IN the south coast of Ma or Ri. Hope to hold one in the next couple of years... Clubs are great ! But remember going to a Van-inn without a club is not a big deal ... Cuz all Vanners are friends , Just some you have not met ...
