So easy guess... | | | Re: What types of music do you all listen to in your vans? | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 old hand | old hand Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 | Pretty much the same as you….also a “retired” musician and Pro Audio sound concert tech (FOH and Foldback concert mixing) and a long time audiophile. Primarily use one of my 160gb IPods when driving any of my vehicles….currently my I-Tunes (3500+ tracks) is a collection of what I consider the “best of” any of the artists in the collection….no Rap, Punk, New Wave, Metal, Hip Hop, Classical, ….just the best of Rock, Pop, Modern electric contemporary Blues, Smooth Jazz, East & West Coast Swing, some Country and Americana. No “boom-boom systems in my vehicles …..just very clean sounding systems with flat frequency response…..contrary to popular belief does not take thousands of dollars in mobile audio gear for it to sound good…..mobile systems are for the occupants inside a vehicle not outside the vehicle…..LOL
Recently purchased (10-2021) a 1991 Chevy G-20 “Shorty”. Past vans are a 1976 Chevy G-10 (purchased new in 1976 & sold in 1995). A 1978 Chevy G-20 Shorty purchased in 2010 and sold in 2015.

I have a 700 watt others had more, pointing to the hills and we were on the driver side . The cops arrived , lights ,sirens and asked "who started this rave party" Sir ? there is no rave party its just 3 of us ..."We can hear your music in Baker " ... Baker was 8 miles by using the road but it was 3 miles as the crow flies. Our music traveled thru a canyon louder than you'd play it in town. The cops ASKED us if we would turn it down so town folks could sleep ....... Ted Nugent Stranglehold is one of my favorites ...
