I ordered new key fobs for my 2004 Chevy Express Conversion Van. I’ve heard I cannot program the new ones myself ? I have to have a locksmith or dealer do it for me ? 🤔

If that doesn't work, and you can't find another procedure that will, then yes a locksmith or dealer (I'd definitely go to locksmith before crooked dealer) would be your next step.

What's wrong with your old fob? I can repair and refurbish some of them for cheap.

For my 2004 Chevy Express Van it states locksmith or dealer needs to program. IT STATES (SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO PROGRAM.)
