Vannin' Home Forums Chevy Troubleshooting 1992 Chevy G20 AC issues

Question, last year I had the electrical drain on my 1992 Chevy G20 Mark III van as you may recall. Had the dash off and found the issues and fixed.

Just got the van out of storage Friday and odd, but when I turn on the AC (yes, it does get warm in Iowa) I noticed that the blower doesn't blow and the AC isn't working. The AC was working at the end of the year as I had it converted to R134a before I put it in storage for the winter.

But when I turn on the vents the blowers work.

I have checked the fuse for the AC (silver 30amp fuse in panel is good)
I have checked and it's not the pressure low switch.

Anyone have any thoughts on where I may start in the trouble shooting. I don't think having the dash off plays a big part as the AC was working when the dash was all put back together.

Update

Catfish helped me figure out the problem. Fuse had incoming power and fuse was good, but no power from the fuse out to fan speed control switch. In leu of pulling fuse box, ran new wire with fuse to power switch and all works well. Can’t thank CATFISH enough. The guy knows vans!!!!

That's a very nice van at a very good price IMHO.

It is a nice van in great shape! I fixed all the issues and have owned it for a while and it does need a new owner. I still have my 1991.

Here is a picture of my 1992 Chevy G20 with 66,320 miles, 5.7 engine, 4 speed transmission, 134A air conditioning, backup camera (with bumping stereo) and Vision wheels.
