I saw a video of a 95 g20 with a aftermarket steering wheel on it and gave it a cool 70s vibe , I want to do that but I'm not finding anything on hub kits that fit so still researching. I have to get rid of the steering column that currently is in this van cause it's broken and complete garbage so I am wondering if a column from a 94 would work on it ??? Any insight in that would help. Thanks in advance. I plan to start a build thread as soon as I can on this build too. | | | Re: New here , looking to start a van build. | Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 old hand | old hand Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 | I would assume that any column after like 81 (When they changed to the locking column with key) should work. i do not know this for fact, though. | 1 member likes this:

This is when Chevy changed from "The G Series" to "The Express" model vans and the 454 to the Vortec motors. Some things were brought over to the new style, some were not.
I have '92 & '93 I KNOW I can get '88 to '94 with no problems. Was lookin for a driver side exhaust manifold a while back and found a '95 and it was different. So I be putting my eyes n fingers on any Item before Id buy it.

I will compare them soon and if I have to I will fabricate something to make it work some how. | | | Re: New here , looking to start a van build. | Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 23 Likes: 5 stranger | OP stranger Joined: Jun 2022 Posts: 23 Likes: 5 | Well the column I ordered was a bust they called me today and said the computer was wrong about what was in stock so I got refunded. They gave me insight to a couple places a Flaming River and IDIDIT custom columns so I reached out to them . I am going to start tearing into this beast this weekend so I will start a thread and continue on from there. | | | Re: New here , looking to start a van build. | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 Post Junkie | Post Junkie Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 11,241 Likes: 412 | Nice ride Oz105.
