Last year we hosted Vanners at our home Halloween party and everybody loved it, so we decided this year to turn it into a whole weekend with a lot more room!
Location is just South of McClellanville, between Georgetown, SC and Charleston, SC.
We have reserved an entire campground within the Francis Marion National Forest to ourselves for the eVANt.
We will have live music, games, food, raffles, awards, etc.
VENDORS ARE WELCOME, PLEASE CONTACT US ATTHE NUMBERS ON THE FLIER!
The campground is very primitive with no power hook ups and only on-site portable toilets, so come prepared. There are plumbed bathrooms with showers on the property... they are just about a half mile up the dirt road from the campground. Closest Gas Station is approximately 7 miles, Closest Box store is about 20 miles in Mt Pleasant, but the Sewee Outpost is 14 miles South and has a nice beer selection, Gas, and food and just about anything you can need. (Campground is on the water and a SC Salt Water fishing license is required if you plan to fish. License and Tackle/bait is all available at the Outpost)
We will have awards for Best dressed Van (DECORATE YOUR VAN!), Best Costumes, Farthest Distance, and more!
We are still in planning stages and I will Update as the eVANt moves closer!
$40/Van gets you in and registered!
Directions: Best bet is to use a GPS/Navigation on your phone!
From South you come North on US17 and turn Right onto Reverend Perry Rd. From North you come South on US17 and make a U Turn to come back North to turn Right onto Reverend Perry Rd.
Once you turn on Reverend Perry Rd, continue down the dirt road all the way to the campground, a little over 3/4 of a mile.
If you blink you will pass Reverend Perry road, you will immediately see an entrance to Buck Hall Recreation area and will have to make a U turn and try again. Reverent Perry Rd is a basically a single lane dirt entrance road about a 1/4 mile South of the Buck Hall Rec Area Entrance.
Hope to see a lot of Vanners there! We are hoping this is successful and can become an Annual South Eastern Coastal Van Run!

Sounds like a great time and it's my birthday weekend too. Unfortunately I don't see it happening this year. I will be sure that it's advertised on on the Outcast Vanners instagram.

Thanks for making sure it gets shared!
Bummer to hear you won't make it. I don't think we have seen each other since the Vanning Mayhem a few years ago.
We also noticed the other day that Konehead has an event the same weekend and were bummed that we didn't have a way to do a separate weekend. I hate when there are 2 eVANts so close to each other (400 miles between them), so hopefully I can coordinate with him to prevent it from happening again in the future.
We started planning this out about 3 or 4 months ago, but were skeptical about pushing it out there on the web until we secured a location that could fit more vans!
Officially a month away!! We are pumped to host this. Hopefully it will bring things back to an old Truck-in feel a little bit! The feedback has been amazing for how many Vanners are supposed to show up. well above our expectations, but we all know that a lot of folks have great intentions to come and things come up. Either way, I hope to see a lot of yall there!
Did the campground have any damage? Hope not. We are planning on being there. Got a lot to do in a short time. Got in our little GMC the other day and the brake pedal went to the floor. ABS light came on. MC is only a year or so old. Need to pull all four and check/replace everything as I've been slackin' lately. There's been some chuckin' noises from the front end as well. Might have to bring Penny's '95 and sleep on the floor.....Penny would not be happy as she loves the GMC......
We're leaving that Wednesday, should roll in sometime Friday afternoon. Gonna stop for a couple of days at Magnolia Springs State Park on the way there and then stop and eat at Rizers Pork and Produce. I do like a southern country buffet.....
