Been looking around for headers for my 91 G-20 (305; automatic). Thought I found a set at Gibson but contacted them and they said they would not fit the van.....so I am asking if anyone knows of a set that will fit my van without "ANY" modifications of any sort.... bolt on clean nice & easy....would rather have a short or medium set.....feel that long headers might cause problems.

thanks

UPDATE (sorry…should of updated this sooner) Anyway headman had a set that fit perfectly (well for the most part…LOL)…had to have the right side of the rear trans support modified a bit….it was blocking the location where the exhaust pipe runs through. (also used a set of heat sleeves for the plug wires but so far so good)
UPDATE #2: Had to replace the regular O2 sensor with a heated one….engine would not idle correctly (seems to run OK other wise)….was not getting hot enough being further away from the engine.

Recently purchased (10-2021) a 1991 Chevy G-20 “Shorty”. Past vans are a 1976 Chevy G-10 (purchased new in 1976 & sold in 1995). A 1978 Chevy G-20 Shorty purchased in 2010 and sold in 2015.

I struggled pulling the trigger on a set headers. You just have to go on the performance sites and just use make model. Look at the reviews and what other trucks also fit the same header. I picked a set that fit allot of years and models, even 2 and 4WD. Picking mid's and shortie's may actually create more problems, full length will be easier to build an exhaust.. With the help of computers, the amount of knowledge about the subject, the feedback the internet provides Fitting headers is not that scary as it was.. I believe they streamlined the process and reduced the overall number off parts. The set I picked fit 73-97 trucks. You have the late model belt set up so you should not have the bracket problems with the old V belt set up. If you buy something weird you can only blame yourself. If someone stated 10 years ago 76 camaro headers fit keep in mind they could could have changed since then. Try sticking with C/K G P truck, avoid odd ball S truck and such. Stick with the truck family.

I have a 89 g20 and used ‘hooker’ block huggers short.

Fit really Easily and no mods. EBay special. I’ll see if I can find the Ad

If you're still running the TBI you'll need to add a place to mount the O2 sensor, too.

Found an an adapter/collector that had the sensor fitting already in place….so far so good….
UPDATE: Had to install a heated O2 sensor (have a post about the install) the stock sensor did not get hot enough to work correctly….all seems fine now.
