Hi all, I am looking for recommendations for a good 4" thick foam mattress to use in my van. I need to update my build thread soon where I'll go over the whole construction, but it's plywood decking with 1/2" anti-fatigue mat tiles over top, and then I plan on using a foam 4" thick mattress over that. it's basically a "full" size mattress, but I will need to trim a few inches off of the end so that it fits between the walls. That's why I need it to be foam or something I can cut.

Anyways, what are you using that you like? That's firm yet comfortable?

I see a ton of options on Amazon and other places, but would like some first hand experiences.

Thanks in advance!

Neither of those are able to be cut down are they? I am putting this sideways, and need it to be full size, but need to take about 5" off of one end so it fits between the walls.

I had a custom mattress built by mattressinsider.com. It was built to my dimensions (basically a short queen). You can choose firmness and we also wanted firm. It took several months to get, but the quality was good and we are happy with it, we also bought a custom sheet set from them to fit.
