Got the lamp pulled out...it just slides out...no turning.....Anyway the bulb is bad....can see the filaments inside and one side has come loose so need to get a replacement. The electrical manual does not have that bulb listed. Can see a 7 and 2 on the bulb...looks like most has been rubbed off. (see a close up photo of the bulb below). Does anyone know what the replacement bulb number Is? Thanks
Been checking all the light functions on my 91. Is the small lamp behind the gear selector supposed to come on when you turn the dash lights on? Finished working on the exterior lights and starting on the interior lights..have the gauge cluster out still but was going to install my new gear selector indicator (shows what gear your in….mine was busted off) and thought I would see if the lamp is working and did not come on when I tried to turn the dash lights on with the dimmer on the headlight switch. Also how does that lamp come out? Does it twist first or just straight out? Thanks

Recently purchased (10-2021) a 1991 Chevy G-20 “Shorty”. Past vans are a 1976 Chevy G-10 (purchased new in 1976 & sold in 1995). A 1978 Chevy G-20 Shorty purchased in 2010 and sold in 2015.
It backlights the gear selections. It’s def hooked in with the gauge cluster bc it should dim when you dim those lights and should turn on when you turn on the headlights. It might not be working because you have your cluster pulled out and the circuit is broken
