Been trying to find a “stock” three point front OEM seat belt assemblies in black for my 91……changing the color from blue to black. Cannot see how to take the webbing retractor assembly apart (without ruining it) to get the webbing changed and not been able to find a used set in black so been looking for an aftermarket set that the male belt end will fit in the stock female buckle on the “sleeve” so the warning buzzer work correctly……well none of the aftermarket belt system will fit. Now the buzzer connector is in the “sleeve” end. Can anyone explain how the circuit works? The buzzer shuts off when the male end in inserted into the female buckle on the sleeve so it must “open” the circuit which shuts the buzzer off correct? Is there a relay involved somewhere?
Thanks
