SUNSHINE VANS-VAN DIEGO ADRENALIN BY THE GALLON & CHASIN RACIN ONE FOR THE DIRT & ONE FOR THE STREETS '93 CHEVY G30 454 4X4 SPORTVAN EXT 146" WB '92 CHEVY G30 454 BEAUVILLE EXT 146" WB | | | Re: OEM SEAT BELT QUESTION ON A 91 | Joined: Sep 2020 Posts: 28 Likes: 7 newbie | newbie Joined: Sep 2020 Posts: 28 Likes: 7 | The driver side belt on mine wouldn’t retract properly so I replaced both of the seatbelts with these from Wesco: [ https://www.wescoperformance.com/conversion-van-seat-belt.htmlI ordered the “retro metal” buckle option. When they arrived I checked and the belts did fit into the OEM GM buckle, so you should be able to still use yours if you want. The original buckles on mine had unfortunately corroded from how they lay on the carpet for years without being used so I swapped them out with the new ones. No sensor in mine so that wasn’t a concern. The wescos are probably a way easier option than dealing with taking apart your current belt. Good luck! | | | Re: OEM SEAT BELT QUESTION ON A 91 | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 | Thanks for the info on Wesco…..looks like the best way to go

Sorry to steer you wrong or that! | | | Re: OEM SEAT BELT QUESTION ON A 91 | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 | I’ve been looking at the photos on the Wesco site as well as a couple others and the ones with GM style female buckle the male ends look just like mine so I’m gonna take chance and order a set and guess worst case I can always send them back…… Thanks for the replies
