Recently purchased (10-2021) a 1991 Chevy G-20 “Shorty”. Past vans are a 1976 Chevy G-10 (purchased new in 1976 & sold in 1995). A 1978 Chevy G-20 Shorty purchased in 2010 and sold in 2015.

When they arrived I checked and the belts did fit into the OEM GM buckle, so you should be able to still use yours if you want. The original buckles on mine had unfortunately corroded from how they lay on the carpet for years without being used so I swapped them out with the new ones. No sensor in mine so that wasn’t a concern. The wescos are probably a way easier option than dealing with taking apart your current belt.
