Depends on your processor, Intel or Ryzen.

Catfish....they're talking about the version, not the browser. Microsoft has put out Windows 11, they will quit supporting windows 10 in 2025.

Why is it that when I press 1 for English, I still can not understand the person on the other end????

If you ask me, all software just released/new will have issues to be worked out over time. Thus Windows 3.1 to 3.11 to 98 to XP to Vista and and Windows 7 to Windows 10 and now onto Windows 11 (I am sure I missed several versions). Verdict is out. Most cases will work fine on new machines it came installed on, I would not upgrade for a year or so until the bugs/fixes have been worked out. But that is my own opinion.

Even though Windows 10 will not be supported in 2025, I am sure between now and then (hoping for at least 2-3 more good years out of my laptop) before I have be buy a new PC. Not always a fan up upgrading the software due to issues with the processor and ram. Sometimes it's best to bite the bullet and just buy new and pre-installed with a warranty. Again my $.02 worth....

In every field there will be software changes and big advancements (look at fuel injection from 1950's to TBI to TPI to now!!) that is still part of software and software chips doing more.

So is there much difference between Windows 10 and 11. My computer is showing a Stop Code - Critical Service Failed and all I am getting is a blue screen. I am computer illiterate, so other than following some directions to diagnose, restart, reset, etc., which I have tried several times today, with no luck. I will have to wait till one of my kids stop and take a look at it. Looking on-line, it appears most everything in HP is Windows 11, any listed for Windows 10 are sold-out. Currently using an older computer here that is very slow. I still wish I could have Windows 98.

They no longer support win 98 .... buyin a new machine with win 11 is ok but when you try to upgrade win 10 to win 11 is where the problems come from, the upgrade, with all the little patch files to change the original program.
