Hello all from Newcastle Australia. I'm not much of a computer wiz, and I hope I'm in the right area (New to forums) but looking forward to chatting and learning along the way with my 1969 E100 Van I'm decking out at home. Can anyone help me, Ive taken out the 240 I6 for a 302w swap and was wondering if i need to use a V8 cross member or the stock one is the same. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Glen

Thanks guys. I just don’t want to drop in an after market if I can source the right one the 302 will sit forward if I put it in with this one ??? I may not be thinking hard enough 🥴
Gday Samhain …. That’ll help me, cheers. I’ve jumped in before doing all my research ( that’s my usual MO🤣)but I’m having a blast learning to work through the steps to get this new motor in👍
I missed the daylight, I did get a couple photos but this forum is massively unfriendly to iPhone uploads. I’ll gladly email them over and can get better photos and measurements in the day if helpful. Crossmember is stamped 289CID across the top center.
