Some confusion about our tank size and style - usually a metal 22 gal tank with a side access sending unit. When we pulled it down, found that it had been retrofitted with a 36 gal top port for sending unit. Consequently, sending units ordered to usual van specs are horizontal not vertical

Anyone know spec s and parts for these top access gas tanks? Links to sending unit purchase site or advice much appreciated...

You could try these guys, maybe they can rebuild your current one? https://www.bobsspeedometer.com/services/fuel-senders/

The bigger tanks were less common in the older Dodge vans. Really hard to find new tanks and sending units for them.
