| | | WHATS THE TRICK TO REMOVING GUAGE CLUSTER ON A 91 CHEVY G VAN | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 | Have started the process of getting the 91 Chevy Shorty I recently purchased ready for repaint and interior changes. What is the trick to unplugging the multi-pin connector on the back of the gauge cluster? Do the end clips pull out or push in? Do not want to break them..probably would never find another one........
thanks
Recently purchased (10-2021) a 1991 Chevy G-20 “Shorty”. Past vans are a 1976 Chevy G-10 (purchased new in 1976 & sold in 1995). A 1978 Chevy G-20 Shorty purchased in 2010 and sold in 2015.

Just be gentle and you should be ok. | | | Re: WHATS THE TRICK TO REMOVING GUAGE CLUSTER ON A 91 CHEVY G VAN | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 936 Likes: 36 |
