No Kidding. Good Hard Working Man. Went thru the Great Depression; at 17 1/2 yrs old joined the Navy and fought in the Pacific. Worked till he was 82 lived to be 87 and survived 4 strokes..
He didn't talk much; but when he did; he had something to say and was "never" politically correct. I miss him.

Anyone tried redhead steering gears? After all the work I've done I think my gearbox is still seeping a little from the input seal. I wanna replace it but I don't wanna waste time with a cheap parts store unit, I've not heard good things.

Well, they said they couldn't change the ratio so I ended up ordering one from Lee with a 14:1 ratio, best they can do in the reverse box. I'm probably the only person who has ever spent this much money on a power steering gear for a family van 🤣

Just spent $700 on a steering gearbox - ask me anything!

After failing to find what I was looking for from any of the mainstream vendors I finally decided to pony up and call Lee Power Steering today. $700 later and I have a 14:1 ratio gearbox to finish off the compete steering/suspension/brake overhaul on our 1995 G2500. I can't wait to see how this thing drives!
