Thanks for adding me smile

I have a 1995 Vandura 3500 and I am currently trying to get her back on the road.
I feel like I owe it to her a this is the van that wont die.
It caught fire 3 times in the last 5 years and she still wants to drive!
I am in Portugal so finding parts is difficult and expensive so any help would be great.
I will search the threads but Im just looking for the answer to one question.
Does anyone have a link to an outlet oil seal from gear box to drive shaft for my Vandura and is it the same one as used on the Chevy G20 van??
Parts are realy hard to find if I search for Vandura, any tips or hints on finding the right parts?
Thanks every one

Welcome to the site .... your van can use Chevy G10 G20 G30, GMC 1500 2500 3500 parts...

dont limit your self to just 3500 ... I have G30's and cant find parts for it but when I widen my search ... search part numbers when you can and not just 1 model of veh... Chevy and GMC use the same parts to build there vehicles

Rockauto.com ... motor N drive train

LMC.com .... body N trim

Again welcome ...

As frscke said, yes you should try Rock Auto and use the G suffix.

Vandura's are typically G20 series but If yours is a 3500, it is a G30. How many lug nuts on wheels?

Which transmission? 4L60 for g20. 4L80 for g30. 4L60 transmission pan shape is pretty square, 4L80 is square at one end and curved on one end. If I understand correctly, that's a very inexpensive part.

Where in Portugal?

Hello
transmission is 4L80e i think. Its had quite a bit of work on the gear box and will need some more now. the seal was leaking which caused the gear box to over heat and set fire to starter motor cables, in a gas station...
But thats a post for a different day.
Will check luggage nuts today.
Thanks
