I didn't see a dedicated thread for us to just post up cool random vans we spot during our daily travels, so I decided to start one. Mods feel free to change this if I overlooked it. If it's fine to keep this thread, maybe we could pin it to the top so everyone can share their van spotting as well.

Spotted this one while leaving my neighborhood yesterday. 1970 Ford and it looks like its still being used as a handyman van, a little worse for wear, but overall pretty decent shape for it's age and what it's being used for. Love seeing 2nd Gen Fords out and about, they're getting pretty darn rare in my area.

Yeah, that's why I posted this thread here. Most of the "van sightings" we post are for something kind of specific and cool, usually unique finds. This thread can be kind of like the "junkyard finds" where you can just post pics of the cool vans you see while out and about.

I spotted an early 70s Dodge with port windows at a local gas station a couple years back. Tried to stop and snag a pic, but momma was in a mood because we were rushing to get the kids to a school concert, so she wouldn't let me stop. That would have been a cool candidate for this thread.

Here's another random one. My friend has been on the hunt for a Chevy shorty, so I snag pics for him when I can, or forward interesting ads when they pop up. I keep driving by this one sitting in the back yard of a local house, but never have time to stop when I pass it. So I grabbed him this pic using Google Street View. lol

It's really dang clean. If you look close, there's a huge bondo bubble halfway back from the door, but otherwise the passenger side looked super solid and clean too.

Would this qualify? An early Econo someone had been living in down along the Suwannee river in central Florida. We ran across it out riding around near Old Town.

This is one we ran across near Butler GA. Driving down US19 and saw it. HAD to do a U-turn and go back. Belonged to a young couple that were packing for a road trip. His Dad owned a body shop nearby IIRC. And he did pinstripping.

HOLY CRAP! That one is gorgeous! Love the roof rack too. Reminds me of the old VW bus racks.
