It ran great most of the way, then started overheating.. Had to turn the ac off and the heat on in 100 degree weather.. That sucked. Ride home started off ok, but about 30 minutes into the trip, the temp started going up.. Was at 210 most of the way home, and had to keep the heat on. Thankfully it was cooler out today (75 at home) so we had the windows open and it was tolerable. Replaced the water pump last year, and had the system flushed and a new thermostat 2 years ago.. Gonna get the system flushed again... Maybe it got hot enough to break up some shit and it is now plugging up the core or something.. Low coolant, rad hose collapsing, t-stat malfunction, too many bugs in the grille. Let us hope it's something simple. Might be the fan clutch.....
