Hey everyone, I'm new to dodge, and even newer to carbs... which is what I hope is my problem currently.

Just bought this gem a few days ago and diagnosing everything is a pleasant nightmare.

I am not really good with carbs. That does look like the one I have. Mine is a Holly 1945 . Have you checked the throttle and choke linkage ?

Probably needs a carb rebuild. I had an 85 with the slant six as well and it had a dead spot in the carb. I rebuilt it and she ran like a song afterwards.

Update, I found an actual same exact carb and bought it with intentions on rebuilding the one lone,

Linkage, I just bought a new choke thermostat and I'm hoping that
Solves my problem, if not fuel pumps next.

Make sure all the steel and rubber lines are in good shape as well. I had to replace a steel line on the 85 because it had rusted so bad there were little pin holes and it was sucking air into the fuel lines. I replaced EVERYTHING from the tank to the carb. That solved the fuel starvation problem I was experiencing.

I also got rid of the spark control computer and swapped in a conventional Mopar electronic ignition.

All that is super useful. I'm considering trying that sniper efi system....
